We came to Ireland to learn English but we have also learnt how to live far away from our parents and how other families live.
The first two weeks were very hard because I had to adapt to the new country, new friends and school and also different food and language. It was also difficult to adapt to the family and try to be comfortable. But then, everything went very fast!!!
At school, if you are friendly and kind, you will have many friends to speak to. On Fridays there was no homework to be done at the weekend! And if you were late, the teacher just said it was ok.
I think Saturdays were GREAT! because in the mornings we had English lessons but then I met my friends and went to different places that were very nice.
When I had a problem I told Mª Jose or Diana and I enjoyed it so much when they came to my school to talk with me.
