On 4th April, six students from Bachiller, Marta Guinea, Marta Rodriguez, Virginia Ayesa, Marta Olaizola, Carmen Real de Asúa and I, Patricia Rocafort, accompanied by our English teacher Maria Arzua, went to the first MUN conference that took place in Jaén.

The organiser, Carmen Contreras, invited us to their conference in order to help them run it, as we had already attended several conferences and we could share with them our experience.

Our duty was to be the Chairs, each one of us in a different committee, and to explain how a MUN conference works. In order to do this, we first had a workshop where we explained, in Spanish, all the rulings and procedures of a conference and we also shared with them some personal experiences. Once the workshop was finished, the conference started, in English, and committee time began.

It was very gratifying seeing how all delegates participated and took part in the debate. It was a really interesting and enjoyable conference that we would love to attend again.
