This term the children in infantil have been practising their English with me in smaller groups. This has given them the opportunity to reinforce and practice what they are learning in their classes. All the children have been working really hard to practise their English. I have really enjoyed getting to know all the children here and always see them with a smile on their face.
I have also been working a few mornings a week in the nursery with the younger children. We have been practising different songs and reading books in English. They have particularly enjoyed playing with the teddy. When I say to them ‘where is teddy’, they are able to look for the teddy bear. They have been repeating a lot of words in the class such as different animals. Songs have also been a great way for them to hear and learn English.
