Last Friday,January 22th,Steve Lodge from Digipen ( Bilbao’s Institute of Technology) came to our school to explain how video games are made and how much work has to be put into their design and creation.
First of all , he started by giving some interesting numbers about how much money is spent on video games. He told us about all the technicalities of creating a video game, about artificial intelligence and how maths and physics play an important role in the creation.
He also told us about animation and how the artists use their pictures and photographs.
Finally, he told us what skills and qualifications are required to do this degree at Digipen.
All in all , we attended a very interesting presentation focusing interest on video games and before leaving, we were able to ask questions to solve all our doubts.
